While many of my clients go on to secure representation and publication, I make it a point of principle never to mislead a writer about their chances in a highly competitive market.
I have wide experience with literary fiction – including historical fiction and psychological thrillers – as well as book club fiction and a broad range of non-fiction, from ‘big idea’ books and biography to memoir.
The Snapshot Fiction Report gives a concise (5–6 page) overview of your novel, assessing the core pillars of the narrative, the level at which the material is written and its commercial appeal.
It highlights what is working well while identifying areas for development, with clear and actionable suggestions.

A submission package report (5–6 pages) ensures your opening material is as strong as possible — refining the first 10,000 words, your cover letter and synopsis to present a compelling case for your work.
If I feel a manuscript is not yet ready for submission, I will explain why and suggest next steps.
